More Fair

Yesterday was the only day I made it to the State Fair, it was the last day but it was a lot of fun. We walked and walked and sampled all kinds of goodies from pumpkin popcorn to a new type of candy found in France, so it's a good thing we walked.

When we got out on the midway my friend and her daughter and Joshua and I decided to ride some rides. They did this revolving sort of long thingy which goes up and around( i didn't do that one) then we made our way to the Tilt-A-Whirl. It's these bucket like contraptions you sit in and pull a bar up over your lap, it goes round and round and the buckets spin too, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Later we rode a thing called the tornado. It's this cup like thing suspended from octopus like arms with four sets per arm, it goes round and round up and down and then you have the option of whirling it too.

We got to see Gary Puckett sing a few of his songs for free. I am sure many of you don't know who he is. He sings a song called "Woman", "Young Girl" and so on. It was a great free concert. Then we all went into the OK building and had a free ice cream cone. I was ready to leave by nine at night though.

It'll be another year before it comes back. I hope the take into consideration all the suggestions left. It's expensive and seems like there is less and less each year. Well that is it from me.

Love to all
Missy

I love fairs like that. Hoping there will be some good weather soon so we can go exploring.

Looks like things are still chilly on your end. One of the photos you posted looked like there was snow on the ground :).

Things will be heating up soon, so shop around for veggies or start them from seed, it's cheaper that way.
